Q. I am a consumer. Can I buy direct from Target Dry?

A. It is Target Dry’s policy to support its retailers. Therefore, we do not sell direct to the public. However, in our links section you will find details of a number of internet retailers who offer our products online.

Q. How can I find out about my local stockists?

A. Contact us, by telephone, fax, or through this site, with details of where you live and what product(s) are of particular interest, and we will get back to you with the relevant information as soon as possible.

Q. How do I care for my Target Dry garment?

A. Washing and care instructions can be found on each product’s labelling, and should be carefully followed to lengthen the life of that product. With many of our garments, normal soiling can be removed with a damp sponge or cloth.

We recommend washing carefully by hand, or by machine at a maximum of 40* celsius, using pure soap flakes or non-biological washing powders. Always check the washing instructions.

Do not use detergent, bleach, optical brightening agents or fabric softeners. These can effect the taped seams, and the waterproofing of the garment. To dry, we recommend drip drying, then if necessary iron on a cool setting.

Q. I am a retailer. How can I get further information with a view to stocking Target Dry?

Q. What is the difference between showerproof and waterproof?

A. Waterproof garments feature fabric coated with waterproofing solution. In addition, all seams are taped to ensure water does not seep through. With the exception of the showerproof Oslo Jacket and Gilet, and Inishmore Wool Sweater, all Target Dry products are waterproof.

Q. What does ‘breathable’ mean?

A. Breathable applies to fabrics treated to allow the escape of moisture created through the heat generated by wearing a garment, while remaining waterproof against external moisture. Many garments in the Target Dry range are breathable.

Q. What guarantee does Target Dry offer?

A. Target Dry stands over the quality of its products. Just because we offer very good value does not mean that we sacrifice standards. Should you have any problem, due to the manufacture of any product, please contact the retailer where you bought the coat. They will take the matter up with us. We will deal with any such matter in a courteous and efficient manner.
